Failed Your GCSE Maths? Let's Fix It - Resit Support in Slough & Online
A grade below 4 in GCSE Maths isn't the end of the road. Our resit specialists help students rebuild their foundation, tackle the topics that tripped them up, and walk into the resit with real confidence.
A Resit Is a Second Chance, Not a Setback
Thousands of students across the UK resit GCSE Maths every year. Whether you missed a grade 4 by a mark or two, or the whole paper felt impossible, the resit is your chance to get it right.
The Foundation tier is designed to be passable - a grade 4 or 5 is well within reach once the basics are solid. The problem most resit students face is that they're retaught the same way that didn't work the first time.
We do things differently. We find the gaps, fill them properly, and build from there - so this time around, the maths actually makes sense.
Why Students Miss a Grade 4:
- !Gaps in number skills from earlier years
- !Panic and blanking in the exam hall
- !Weak algebra fundamentals
- !Not enough exam-style practice
- !Feeling "behind" and giving up
- !Being taught a method that didn't click
Every one of these is fixable. Let's get to work. →

How the Resit Works
When can I resit?
GCSE Maths resits are available in November and the following summer. Most students sit the November resit to get it done quickly.
Which tier?
Resit students usually take the Foundation tier, where grades 1-5 are available. A grade 4 is the standard pass needed for most courses and jobs.
Do I need to stay in school?
Students who don't achieve a grade 4 in Maths must continue studying it until age 18. A resit is the quickest way to meet that requirement.
How long until the exam?
With focused weekly sessions, most resit students see real progress within 4-6 weeks and are exam-ready in one term.
Our promise: if your child puts in the work and attends regularly, we guarantee measurable progress by their next assessment - or we keep working with them free until they do.
