These Terms & Conditions govern the use of Aljabra's website and tutoring services. By booking lessons, enrolling in a subscription, or using our website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. About Aljabra
Aljabra provides private Maths and Science tutoring services, both in-person and online.

2. Services Provided
Aljabra offers:
- One-to-one tutoring
- Group tutoring
- Online and in-person lessons
- Subscription-based lesson packages
Services are provided subject to availability.
3. Bookings & Lesson Slots
- Lesson slots must be agreed and confirmed in advance.
- Once confirmed, lesson times are reserved exclusively for the client.
- Same-day time changes are not permitted.
- A delay caused by the client will shorten the session accordingly.
4. Payments
- All lessons must be paid in advance or via an agreed monthly subscription.
- Payment confirms your booking.
- Unpaid lessons will not take place.
- Prices may be updated with reasonable notice.
5. Subscription Plans
- Subscription plans cover an agreed number of sessions per month.
- Missed or unused sessions are not refundable.
- Rescheduling depends on tutor availability.
- Subscription fees remain payable regardless of attendance.
6. Cancellation Policy (24 Hours)
- At least 24 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule.
- Cancellations within 24 hours are charged in full.
- No-shows are charged in full.
- Repeated late cancellations may result in termination of tuition.
7. Tutor Cancellations
- If Aljabra must cancel a session, clients will be offered a reschedule or credit.
- No charge will be made for tutor-cancelled lessons.
8. Attendance & Commitment
- Regular attendance is required for progress.
- Aljabra is not responsible for lack of progress caused by inconsistent attendance.
9. Behaviour & Conduct
- Students must behave respectfully.
- Abusive, aggressive, or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated.
- Aljabra reserves the right to terminate tuition if behaviour standards are not met.
10. Parent Responsibilities
Parents/guardians are responsible for:
- Ensuring students are ready for lessons
- Providing a suitable learning environment
- Supporting appropriate behaviour
The tutor is not responsible for discipline.
11. Right to Refuse or Terminate Services
Aljabra may refuse or terminate services if:
- Payments are not made
- Policies are repeatedly breached
- Behaviour is unacceptable
- The relationship becomes unworkable
No refunds will be issued in these circumstances.
12. Liability
Aljabra is not responsible for:
- Exam results or specific grade outcomes
- Technical issues outside our control
- Losses resulting from misuse of services
All services are provided on a best-efforts basis.
13. Intellectual Property
All lesson materials remain the property of Aljabra unless otherwise stated.
14. Website Use
You agree not to misuse the website or attempt unauthorised access.
15. Privacy
Use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy.
16. Changes to Terms
Aljabra may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be posted on the website.
17. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
